Common questions
Why did a date move?
When a due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday (including DC Emancipation Day), it moves to the next business day. This calendar applies that rule automatically.
Are these dates for everyone?
They are for calendar-year taxpayers. Fiscal-year businesses, disaster-area relief, and special situations differ. State dates marked "typical date" vary by state and by tax. Always confirm with the agency.
Can I add the dates to my calendar?
Yes. Choose the Federal or State tab, select your categories and press "Download .ics" to import the next 12 months into Google, Apple or Outlook calendar.
Which forms are covered?
Individual and business income tax returns and estimated taxes, payroll tax returns and deposits, W-2 and 1099 filings, gift tax returns (Form 709), and FinCEN filings such as the FBAR (FinCEN 114).
