Estimated Fees – Business Clients – Tax

 

Base Fee: $950

(Applies if client provides complete financial statements, and required schedules)

Scope:

  • Only for standalone entities / businesses (no consolidations, subsidiaries, or foreign reporting).
  • Covers preparation of federal business tax return (Form 1120, 1120-S, or 1065 as applicable).

State Tax Preparation Fee: $150 – $500 (per state, varies by state requirements).


Financial Statements & Supporting Documents Required

Client must provide the following for all periods in the tax year:

  • Trial Balance
  • Income Statement
  • Balance Sheet
  • Cash Flow Statement
  • Statement of Changes in Equity
  • Fixed Assets: Depreciation schedule, gross asset details, and invoices
  • Intangibles: Amortization schedule and supporting documents for gross amount
  • Bank Reconciliation Statements
  • PDF copies of
    • Bank statements and 
    • Loan statements
    • Merchant Account Statements
    • Marketplace providers’ Statements
  • Accounts Receivable & Vendor Aging Statements
  • Schedule of Loans and Interest
  • Sales Tax Returns and other tax returns e.g. soft drinks
  • Local returns, where applicable
  • Merchant Account Statements
  • Payroll Reports
    • Payroll Reports & Payroll Register in Excel
    • Copies of all W-2 and 1099 forms issued
    • IRS Forms 941 and 940
    • State withholding returns (state 941 equivalents) and SUTA returns

Additional fee: IF PTAC prepares the financial statements, analyses, workpapers to prepare the tax returns:

  • $1,000 if revenue is less than$100k
  • $1,800 for revenue $100 – $200k
  • $3,000  for revenue $200 – $350k
  • $4,800 for revenue  $350k – $600k
  • TBD for revenue more than $600

  • Accountants’ / View only access to bank accounts
  • List of all invoices raised in excel

    • Payroll register in excel in requested format

Individual Tax Advisory Package

For Individuals with W-2 Income and Some Investments

This package is designed for individuals and families who primarily earn W-2 wages and may also have investment income such as interest, dividends, capital gains, stock sales, brokerage accounts, retirement accounts, or other common investment activity.

The purpose of this package is to provide year-round tax guidance and planning so individuals can make better financial decisions, reduce taxes where legally possible, and plan for their family’s long-term financial goals.


Annual Advisory Fee

The annual fee is based on the individual or family’s total annual income:

The goal is to help the business owner make better financial decisions, reduce taxes where legally possible, and stay informed throughout the year.

Services Included

The Small Business Advisory Package includes:

Proactive Tax Reduction Planning
We actively look for legal and practical ways to reduce your federal and state tax liability throughout the year, instead of waiting until tax filing season.

Tax Planning and Strategy Discussions
We provide guidance on tax-saving strategies, timing of income and expenses, business deductions, entity-related tax considerations, retirement plan opportunities, reasonable compensation issues, and other planning ideas applicable to your business.

Year-Round Advisory Support
You may contact us during the year for general business, accounting, and tax-related questions. We act as your year-round accounting advisor, helping you understand the tax impact of business decisions before they are made.

Personal Accountant-Style Support
We provide ongoing professional guidance similar to having a personal accountant available for your business. This may include reviewing tax-related questions, discussing business structure, explaining financial matters, and helping you understand compliance responsibilities.

General Business Tax Guidance
We assist with general guidance regarding deductible expenses, estimated taxes, payroll tax considerations, owner compensation, contractor versus employee issues, and other common small business tax matters.

Periodic Planning Review
We may review your business situation during the year and suggest possible planning opportunities based on the information provided by you.

Services Not Included

The annual advisory fee does not include the following services. These services, if required, will be billed separately:

Income Tax Return Preparation
Preparation and filing of federal, state, or local income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, S corporations, LLCs, trusts, or any other entities is not included.

FBAR Filing
Preparation or filing of FinCEN Form 114, Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts, commonly known as FBAR, is not included.

FinCEN BOI Reporting
Preparation, filing, correction, or update of Beneficial Ownership Information reports with FinCEN is not included.

Issuance of Forms 1099
Preparation, review, filing, e-filing, correction, or issuance of any type of Form 1099, including Form 1099-NEC, 1099-MISC, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, or any other information return, is not included.

LLC-Related Work
Any LLC-related work is not included. This includes LLC formation, amendment, dissolution, annual reports, operating agreements, ownership changes, registered agent matters, or state filings.

Secretary of State Filings and Compliance
Secretary of State filings, annual reports, reinstatements, good standing certificates, amendments, registered agent updates, or any other state compliance filings are not included.

Other Compliance Work
Any other federal, state, local, payroll, sales tax, franchise tax, business license, or regulatory compliance work is not included unless separately agreed in writing.

This package is an advisory and planning package only. It is intended to provide ongoing guidance and proactive tax planning support. Any tax preparation, filing, compliance, representation, bookkeeping, payroll, audit, notice response, or specialized consulting services will require a separate engagement and may be billed separately.
